DT Swiss DEG Degrees of Freedom Upgrade Kit + Install Tool

The Degrees of Freedom (DF) Upgrade Kit is an anti-pedal kickback system that lives in your DT Swiss DEG hub, quietly decoupling your chain from every movement of the rear shock. It's a lightweight, low maintenance, and easily adjustable system that gives DT Swiss DEG hub riders chain-less performance with no compromise. Choose between 0°, 10°, and 20° of rotation depending on your personal preference, and the system requires no more maintenance than a classic DEG Ratchet system. 

Compatible with all Ratchet DEG hubs (350/240). DEG Hubs were introduced in 2024, and previous generation Ratchet EXP or Pawl style DT Swiss hubs are not compatible with the DF system.

The Upgrade Kit includes:

1x DEG Threadring removal tool
1x DEG DF Threadring
1x DEG DF Inner Ratchet 90T
1x DEG Outer Ratchet 90T
2x DEG Springs
1x Special Grease 20g

For installation, a DT Swiss Threadring tool is required, and included with this kit. If you already have this tool, we offer a kit without this tool at a lower price!
